Mario

The little plumber who could makes his beat-'em-up debut in Super Smash Bros. Mario is perhaps the most well-rounded character of the bunch, with decent speed and a fairly powerful punch. The real question is, though, can the same moves that saved Princess Peach time and time again help him take home the championship?

   PUNCH
Flash Mario's fists with a tap of the A Button and make your competition see stars. 

  FIREBALL
Mario's trademark fireball will bounce across the ground until it finds a target.

  SUPER JUMP PUNCH
Get in close and pull off a Super Jump Punch, which will hit your opponent where it hurts: the pocketbook.

  MARIO TORNADO
It looks like a thousand fists of fury when Mario unleashes his Tornado attack and sends his opponent packing. 

  SUPER MARIO
Grab hold of your opponent and hit them with the Super Mario, an attack that will hurl them into oblivion.

Mario Battle Zone:

   Peach's Castle

Located in the upper reaches of Princess Peach's castle, this is one of the most compact battle zones in the game. Beware of the bumper above the castle, because it can bruise even the biggest brawlers. A small constantly moving platform at the base of the structure makes this small arena even more treacherous. With four players fighting simultaneously, things can quickly get too close for comfort.
